Position Overview:

The Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing specialized knowledge and skills in maintaining fixed and rotating equipment, including engines, pumps, piping systems, valves, and vessels. This role involves inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems essential to oil and gas production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular large-scale preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on a diverse fleet of compression equipment and additional rotating machinery.
  • Support Health, Environment, and Safety initiatives by performing daily tasks in compliance with established regulations and policies.
  • Adhere to safe operating procedures as outlined in the safety manual and ensure a secure working environment.
  • Manage work orders through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and mobile applications, including pre-work assessments and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by workload.
  • Strong commitment to corporate values and principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work a 9/80 schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science or related field, or Military Occupational Specialty in a relevant mechanical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of current industrial mechanical experience, particularly with reciprocating engines, compressors, and pumps.
  • Familiarity with reliability initiatives addressing safety, environmental, and production challenges.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair major oil and gas production systems.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications and CMMS.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and documentation.
