Position Summary:
The Director of Finance Transformation - Accounts Payable (AP) is a pivotal role in the implementation of NBCUniversal's SAP S/4 HANA initiative, known as "Project Keystone." This position collaborates with teams across the global Finance and Technology sectors, playing a vital role in our digital finance transformation from conceptualization to execution. The role emphasizes inclusive design, effective change management, and significant finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insights and operational support based on expertise in next-generation ERP Finance Solutions, focusing on data design and migration for AP processes.
  • Collaborate with various workstreams, including data, IT, and Risk and Controls, to analyze business processes, workflows, and policies related to the current ECC solution, ensuring that the design of SAP S/4 solutions meets operational needs.
  • Effectively communicate finance functional requirements to technical teams for development.
  • Engage in fit-to-standard workshops to identify and address solution gaps.
  • Participate in data migration design and validation sessions.
  • Promote our fit-to-standard mission within AP business processes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment to ensure consensus and understanding of proposed solutions.
  • Act as a change advocate for the SAP S/4 transformation.
  • Identify necessary master and transactional data to support future AP business processes and reporting.
  • Evaluate third-party solutions as alternatives to custom development when recommended by SAP.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Information Systems with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in an SAP ecosystem is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable-related functions.
  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes.
  • Proven experience in agile project management with a track record of timely delivery.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in organizational change management.
  • Results-oriented with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities in both functional and technical domains.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with third-party implementers.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance and data processes.
