We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead the Valuation Control Group (VCG) for the LATAM region, while also serving as the Americas Head of FX, Local Market Rates, and Local Market Markets Treasury. This role will report directly to the Global Head of FX & Local Markets and is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our valuation processes.
Role Context:
The VCG is a fundamental component of the Controllers Organization, structured into product-aligned teams that include a dedicated Price Verification unit. The scope of our products is extensive, covering a wide array of securities and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Leadership: Act as the primary lead for LATAM VCG, overseeing regional valuation control outcomes and facilitating results meetings.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across the region.
- Regulatory Coordination: Lead initiatives related to Internal Audit and regulatory matters, ensuring effective communication with the Americas Lead for VCG.
- FXLM Oversight: Direct the FXLM Americas VCG team, managing valuation control activities including Independent Price Verification and Fair Value Hierarchy results.
- Reporting: Ensure timely communication of results and significant issues to senior stakeholders and the Global Head of FXLM VCG.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage relationships with various Finance functions and the Front Office, ensuring alignment and consistency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant finance experience, particularly in financial control or valuation.
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial products and valuation processes.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams across multiple locations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on driving global change and effective communication.

Education:
