Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the bank's syndication operations and oversee primary and secondary syndication transactions across diverse project finance sectors, with a strong emphasis on energy and renewable energy infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the arrangement and distribution of syndication and club deals.
  • Provide strategic advice to the portfolio management team regarding the sale or acquisition of loans, leveraging extensive market knowledge, liquidity insights, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage the execution of loan sales or acquisitions and supervise the transaction settlement process.
  • Act as the bank's primary liaison with the energy, aviation, and infrastructure markets.
  • Build, maintain, and utilize relationships with external syndication bankers to establish the bank as a vital business partner.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with external distribution networks and institutional investors across various asset classes.
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to enhance the bank's visibility.
  • Support capital markets and structuring teams on selected transactions.
  • Assist in negotiating and drafting transaction documentation, including term sheets and mandate letters.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Over 7 years of experience in executing project finance loan syndication transactions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various project finance asset classes, including energy infrastructure and renewable energy.
  • In-depth understanding of the loan syndication and distribution processes.
  • Exceptional relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and drafting transaction documentation.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
