Position Overview
As a Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst, you will report directly to the Regional Accounting Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all manufacturing and costing-related functions within the business unit. You will collaborate with the accounting team enterprise-wide to ensure seamless integration during acquisitions, implement systems, standardize processes, and enhance controls, all while safeguarding the company's assets and ensuring high-quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee manufacturing accounting and costing activities.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly management reports, focusing on manufacturing job costing, standard costs, and variance analysis.
  • Compile and analyze financial data for ledger entries and business transactions.
  • Conduct monthly financial closings, reporting, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in cost-related entries.
  • Implement and refine internal controls, particularly in manufacturing and costing processes.
  • Maintain and optimize the Chart of Accounts to accurately reflect manufacturing cost considerations.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results to support budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing.
  • Engage with auditors, providing insights into control deficiencies and recommending improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements
  • Solid understanding of IFRS.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of dedicated experience in cost accounting, particularly in manufacturing job costing and variance analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior business leaders and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a focus on financial performance measurement.
  • Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is preferred.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
