Position Summary

EBG is seeking a proactive individual to join our performance-oriented team. As we experience rapid growth, we require a hands-on professional to deliver Automated Software Testing and Quality Assurance. The primary goal of this role is to establish effective measures for testing all facets of software solutions, ensuring both functional and technical requirements are met to maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support regression testing for existing websites.
  • Develop automation frameworks and create scripts to transition manual processes into automated ones.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for automating operational tasks.
  • Design, implement, and deploy automation solutions that empower end users with self-service capabilities.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile environment to design and develop automated solutions across multiple systems.
  • Create comprehensive test plans for projects, execute them, and manage all related activities to ensure objectives are achieved and solutions function as intended.
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with legacy and external systems.
  • Ensure all phases and features of software solutions are rigorously tested, identifying and resolving potential issues prior to product launch.
  • Analyze requirements to generate both manual and automated test cases.
  • Review bug fixes and minor enhancements to confirm expected outcomes are met.
  • Work closely with the development team to provide ongoing iterative feedback.
  • Set estimates and expectations for task completion while tracking progress against deadlines.
  • Adapt between automation and manual testing tasks as necessary.
  • Offer test automation expertise to the QA team and troubleshoot automation-related issues.
  • Design and implement scalable test automation using contemporary tools and frameworks.
  • Perform additional support tasks as required.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of practical QA experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Software and processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Selenium, Bitbucket, Java JDK and JRE, Maven, IntelliJ, Eclipse, TestNG, and Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and creating new Automation Frameworks, as well as working within established frameworks.
  • Expertise in automating both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Java.
  • In-depth understanding of automation infrastructure and framework design.
  • Direct experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Advanced skills in automated script design, coding, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Basic foundational knowledge of software design, development, and architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of Web Standards, Accessibility Standards, and browser compatibility.
  • Awareness of the significance of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI).
  • Experience managing deadline-driven projects.
  • Self-motivated, organized, logical, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Proficient in version control systems (Git).
  • Passionate about emerging technologies and software.
  • Understanding of business processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in the technical aspects of software solutions being tested, including MySQL, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, JSON, and API integration (SOAP UI, POSTMAN, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mobile applications.
  • Experience in E-Commerce systems.
  • Familiarity with AGILE software development methodologies.
  • Experience using JIRA.
