Nurse Practitioner

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg team. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments, gathering data on physical, psychosocial, and health history to inform care decisions.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Develop and implement individualized plans of care, identifying expected patient outcomes and evaluating progress towards goals.
- Education and Communication: Provide patient education, addressing identified needs and promoting health literacy. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Supervise and support ancillary staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence. Collaborate with Charge Nurses, Clinical Managers, and physicians to address patient concerns and optimize care delivery.
- Documentation and Quality: Accurately document patient care and concerns in the medical record, contributing to a culture of quality and safety.
- Education: Graduate of a nursing program
- Experience: New graduates or experienced nurses with a background in hospital settings
- Licensure: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
- Certification: Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable
