Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Cambridge Post Acute Care Center.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing physical assessments, and developing care plans.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they are following established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and surveys to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance.
  • Document resident care and treatment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Supervisor or Administrator.
Requirements:
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Good leadership qualities and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organized and detailed in work performance.
  • Good communication skills and self-discipline.
  • Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
