The Registration Specialist II is a key member of the CoxHealth team, responsible for ensuring a seamless patient registration experience. This role plays a critical part in the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits, as well as completing financial clearance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients during the registration process, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and timely completion of registration tasks.
- Complete financial clearance functions, including verifying patient information and resolving any billing or insurance-related issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and registration activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
