Job Summary:

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction in our Medical Surgical Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of operating center goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and serve as a resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement/evaluation activities, staff development activities, and daily support to team members.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of patient care and the overall efficiency of the unit.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse in a Medical Surgical Unit.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
