Sentara Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Stroke/Cardiac Unit.
Employment Type: Full-time - 36 Hours Weekly (12-Hour Shifts)
Work Schedule: Weekend Night - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Qualifications - one of the following is required:
- Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
- Registered Nurse License (Virginia License and/or Compact/Multi-State)
- Students nearing completion of an accredited nursing program
- Students working towards obtaining a Registered Nursing License
This unit comprises 24 beds dedicated to Medical/Surgical Cardiac care, where we monitor patients on telemetry. Our patients are evaluated to determine the next steps in their treatment, which may include cardiac catheterization, transfer to a specialized heart hospital for surgical intervention, or diagnostic tests such as stress tests or echocardiograms.
