As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing and admitting patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including rounding checks and communicating with family members
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- BSN degree or higher, with a minimum of one year of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending
