Responsibilities:

  • Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including rounding checks and communicating with family members
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • BSN degree or higher, with a minimum of one year of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending
