Your Role
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will oversee the comprehensive commercial customer journey, managing relationships and driving business development activities related to our automotive-focused portfolio of accounts within your designated area of responsibility.

Your Responsibilities
- Directly manage key accounts in alignment with established targets and company guidelines, identifying customer needs and promoting Kühne + Nagel's service offerings.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the customer's organizational structure and decision-making processes.
- Analyze the customer's business model and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements with clients, ensuring all commercial requirements are documented and maintained.
- Develop an expert-level understanding of Kühne + Nagel's vertical service offerings.
- Adhere to Kühne + Nagel's sales management processes, ensuring timely updates in our CRM system.
- Monitor monthly performance metrics against set targets, taking immediate corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure that an account plan is established and approved by the relevant sales manager.
- Facilitate the smooth transition of new business into operations to meet customer expectations and Kühne + Nagel's commitments.
- Conduct regular review sessions with assigned clients to discuss continuous improvement, customer strategy, and operational excellence.

Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in International Studies, Business, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- At least 5 years of international experience.
- Leadership experience in direct and virtual settings for a minimum of 2 years.
- 5-10 years of experience in BU/FU Sales.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in consultative selling, negotiations, and persuasion.
- Broad knowledge of supply chain logistics, including air, sea, and road transport.
- Proven track record in business development, including up-selling and cross-selling.
- Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Competitive nature with a focus on driving opportunities to successful outcomes.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
