Job Description:

The Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction at UPS. This position is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) within a specific geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and grow a book of business, including ground, air, and international services.
  • Introduce new products and services to expand business opportunities within customer accounts.
  • Track sales performance to objectives and monitor account statistics.
  • Qualify internal sales leads to identify opportunities and create an effective sales strategy.
  • Utilize resources and account history to prepare for sales calls and submit pricing requests.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of UPS products, services, and customer-facing technology solutions.
  • Describe general customer profiles targeted by the company and understand industry and financial trends impacting UPS and/or customers' organizations.
  • Possess basic understanding of competitor's tactics, product/service offerings, and strategies.
  • Work with others to research stakeholders' and key decision-makers' needs, requirements, and perspectives.
  • Establish and maintain entry-level contacts in customer organizations and build relationships to further understand customers' business and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Business to Business or Business to Consumer sales.
  • Willingness to travel, as required.
  • Experience using Microsoft products.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree).
Compensation and Benefits:

The base pay for this position ranges from $4,390/month to $7,590/month. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to individual and/or company performance.
