Sales Account Executive

The Sales Account Executive is a key role at Nexstar Broadcasting, responsible for generating advertising revenue by building relationships with local businesses and convincing them of the benefits of television advertising.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed sales goals.
- Establish and maintain credible relationships with local business leaders.
- Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients to promote television advertising opportunities.
- Maintain assigned accounts and develop new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients to explain the benefits of television advertising.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
Commissions-based compensation package.
