We are seeking a Manager of Global Technical Services for Pharmaceuticals to oversee, cultivate, and empower a team of technical experts dedicated to supporting our pharmaceutical product offerings.

Core Responsibilities:

  • The Manager of Global Technical Services (GTS) is tasked with guiding, nurturing, and managing a team of specialists and scientists to deliver outstanding support for our pharmaceutical product range.
  • This position reports directly to the RD&A Director and is accountable for establishing and overseeing the GTS team while collaborating with various departments to ensure prompt and effective resolution of technical inquiries from both internal and external clients.
  • The individual will prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting, ensuring that essential resources are directed towards the most critical projects, thereby assisting our global business team in enhancing sales and seizing new opportunities.
  • This role demands a blend of technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree (BS, MS, or PhD) in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in technical service or support within the Pharmaceutical and/or Biopharmaceutical sectors, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • A proven history of managing client relationships and achieving excellence in technical service.
  • A solid grasp of pharmaceutical products and their applications, along with knowledge of relevant unit operations and cGMP practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in an SAP environment is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% may be necessary (both domestic and international).
