Our client is a premier global entity specializing in taste and nutrition solutions for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. They are in search of a Manager of Global Technical Services (GTS) to spearhead, cultivate, and assist a team of technical experts dedicated to delivering support for their pharmaceutical offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- The GTS Manager will lead, nurture, and guide a team of technical professionals and scientists to ensure outstanding support for the pharmaceutical product range.
- This position reports directly to the RD&A Director and is accountable for assembling and overseeing the GTS team while collaborating with various departments to guarantee prompt and effective resolution of technical inquiries from both internal and external clients.
- The manager will prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting, ensuring that essential resources are allocated to critical projects, aiding the global business team in enhancing sales and seizing new opportunities.
- This role necessitates a blend of technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a customer-centric approach.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A degree (BS, MS, or PhD) in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in technical service or support within the Pharmaceutical and/or Biopharmaceutical sectors, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- A proven history of managing client relationships and promoting excellence in technical service.
- A solid understanding of pharmaceutical products and their applications, along with knowledge of unit operations and practices relevant to pharmaceutical clients and cGMP processes.
- Exemplary problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in an SAP environment is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% may be necessary (both domestic and international).
