Job Summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Donor and Corporate Partnerships. This key role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with donors and corporate partners to increase philanthropic support for the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to engage and steward donors and corporate partners
  • Manage the planning and execution of fundraising events, including the annual gala and other advancement-led events
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate donors to secure annual gifts between $1,500-$25,000
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate donors and develop strategies to increase philanthropic support
  • Lead and manage the Membership and Corporate Sponsorship programs to maintain and grow engagement and philanthropic dollars
  • Develop and implement recognition and benefits programs for donors and corporate partners
  • Manage departmental budget and workflow, and work closely with the Head of Advancement on fundraising and stewardship strategy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least four years of professional fundraising experience or professional transferable experience
  • At least one year of professional experience working with a CRM
  • Desirable qualifications include experience working in higher education, leading and managing teams, and working in other advancement departments such as donor relations and stewardship, donor communications, and alumni relations
