Position Summary

Metalworks Inc. is seeking a committed CNC Press Brake Operator for our Forming Department. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING IS AVAILABLE, with a preference for candidates who have general manufacturing experience. Opportunities for cross-training and internal promotions are accessible.

Work Schedule: First Shift (5:30 AM - 4 PM) Monday to Thursday, with mandatory overtime as needed.

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up hydraulic CNC Press Brakes.

2. Form components according to specifications and document progress.

3. Maintain efficiency in a high-volume production environment.

4. Strive for minimal or ideally zero scrap levels.

5. Identify material defects during production runs.

6. Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs repeatedly during 10-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in machine operation, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is essential.
  • Ability to read blueprints is advantageous.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows is required.
