Position Summary: The CNC Press Brake Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by preparing the workspace, configuring setups, and fine-tuning programs to ensure that products are formed according to the specifications outlined in customer blueprints, all while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: The following are essential duties associated with this role. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary:
- Configure and set up hydraulic CNC press brakes.
- Produce components in accordance with specifications and track progress.
- Ensure high efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
- Maintain minimal scrap levels, with a goal of zero scrap.
- Detect material imperfections throughout production runs.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs repetitively during 10-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
- Experience in reading technical drawings is advantageous.
- Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows is required.
