This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The position is compensated through our contract agency. Flexible hours are available, allowing for part-time work during the academic year and full-time hours during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Intern:
  • Operate various machinery including mills, lathes, drill presses, and CNC equipment.
  • Construct jigs and fixtures based on technical drawings and sketches.
  • Identify and resolve issues to support production processes.
Qualifications for the Machine Shop Intern:
  • Some college coursework is preferred, ideally in Tool & Die Machining or a related discipline.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Ability to read technical prints is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 44 lbs.
