We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our community at Five Star Senior Living. As a LPN, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, efficient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support Medication Management: Help residents with medication, including taking medication, opening containers, and reading medication labels.
  • Reposition and Escort Residents: Safely reposition residents in bed and escort them around the community.
  • Provide Toileting and Incontinent Care: Assist residents with toileting and incontinent care.
  • Take Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse.
Communication and Emotional Support
  • Observe and Report: Observe and report on residents' health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide Daily Reports: Detail daily reports to the Nurse or designated charge person at the end of each shift.
  • Offer Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones.
  • Recognize Abnormal Changes: Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinical setting, and valid LPN certification or State/Local equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong emotional intelligence, listening skills, and dedication to the medical field, especially working with seniors.
