Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and management of all health and wellness programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Partner with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training, as required.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for residents.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
- Licensure: Current RN or LPN licensure.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of infection control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule, orientate and train staff.
- Proficient in using MS Office.
- Understanding and ability to implement Personalized Service Plans.
- Understanding of advanced directives and end-of-life care.
- Understanding and ability to implement the assisted living philosophy.
- Understanding of nursing function in assisted living, quality of care and quality of life objectives.
