Digital Sales Manager Job Description

Nexstar Broadcasting is seeking a highly skilled Digital Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing innovative sales strategies across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue targets in digital and linear sales
  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop results-driven marketing solutions across multiple platforms
  • Attend sales calls to develop new accounts and maximize existing ones
  • Train and educate internal and external stakeholders on multi-platform solutions and reporting metrics
  • Manage sales assistants and assist with the recruitment of talented sales professionals
  • Prepare and lead weekly sales meetings and manage department expenses
  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable and sales team to maintain current collections and manage digital inventory and pricing
Requirements and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Minimum three years' experience in media sales, preferably in linear and digital
  • Current knowledge of digital ad technology, online ad serving, Google Analytics, and social platforms
  • IAB and/or Google AdWords certification a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office products required
  • Experience with Wide Orbit, CRM software, Nielsen, and ComScore a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
