Job Overview

The Corporate Sponsorship Specialist will be instrumental in securing sponsorships for events, fostering corporate fundraising collaborations, and supporting the growth and sustainability of the organization. This role involves identifying and pursuing sponsorship opportunities that resonate with the mission and values of EmploYou, LLC.


Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver License.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify potential individual and corporate donors and devise strategies to nurture those relationships.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective sponsors, ensuring effective communication and stewardship.
  • Engage in ongoing dialogue with private and corporate donors.
  • Craft tailored sponsorship proposals and presentations that align with the interests of potential sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to effectively promote sponsorship opportunities.
  • Develop print marketing materials related to fundraising in conjunction with the advertising department.
  • Manage and execute community outreach initiatives that effectively communicate the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Build partnerships within the community to create successful auxiliary groups that aid in fundraising and awareness efforts.
  • Support brand recognition initiatives.
  • Foster volunteer relationships with a focus on identifying fundraising opportunities.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring optimal sponsorship engagement.
  • Expand the contact database of agencies, contacts, university departments, and organizations.
  • Address public and community inquiries regarding matters of interest and concern.
  • Identify new businesses and community organizations for outreach programs and independently cultivate those relationships.
  • Recognize and initiate key community partnership opportunities.
  • Develop initiatives to attract visitors to the organization.
  • Represent the organization at forums and lectures.
  • Conduct research to gather information on individuals, corporations, and foundations for potential funding.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s customer relationship management database (CRM).
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and the organization’s compliance program.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
