Executive Business Development Director

About the Role
At PBK Architects, we are seeking a highly skilled Executive Business Development Director to lead our Higher Education studio in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. This challenging position requires a personable candidate with extensive experience in managerial and business development roles.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our presence in the Higher Education sector.
- Research potential clients and market areas, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Nurture existing client relationships and establish new partnerships through effective networking and communication.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop compelling presentations, provide strategic client information, and participate in marketing material design and implementation.
- Represent PBK at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, ensuring professional representation and follow-up on leads.
- Manage project teams, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining open communication with clients.
- Participate in marketing efforts and may lead presentations to prospective clients.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role.
- Experience managing Higher Education Projects is essential.
- Licensed Architect required.
- LEED AP and AIA certifications preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a client service-oriented approach.
