The UBIF Technician will operate within a retail environment, representing Asurion and delivering exceptional, personalized customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Address customer concerns by diagnosing and fixing their electronic devices.

+ Utilize sales expertise to consistently promote the Connected Home product and engage in effective customer interactions.

+ Acquire and apply knowledge about the Connected Home product, understand customer technology needs, and propose protection and tech support solutions accordingly.

+ Achieve performance goals through sales, exemplary service, and technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction in alignment with Asurion's Core Values.

+ Enhance your understanding of ubreakifix's offerings and corporate culture.

+ Provide top-tier customer service.

+ Exemplify ubreakifix's Core Values in all customer interactions.

+ Manage inventory effectively.

+ Organize same-day inventory processes, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and coordinating with delivery personnel accurately and efficiently.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement programs and processes.

+ Offer constructive feedback on work instructions to improve workflow.

+ Self-manage and prioritize tasks while multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

+ A strong desire to solve problems and provide effective solutions.

+ Preferred experience of one or more years in customer service or retail sales.

+ A readiness to learn and utilize sales resources provided by Asurion.

+ Dependability and adaptability in challenging situations.

+ Flexibility to work varied retail hours.

+ Six months of experience in product service support or electronics troubleshooting is preferred.

+ Familiarity with mobile devices and operating systems.

+ A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

+ Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a background check, including criminal and drug testing.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.

+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.

+ This position operates in a retail setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, and packing tools for orders.

Physical Requirements:

+ The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role.

+ Activities may include bending, sitting, lifting, and standing, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting may be required.

+ Specific vision abilities may include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

+ Effective vocal communication is necessary for expressing or exchanging ideas verbally with customers and clients.

+ Hearing ability is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels.

+ Exposure to dust, noise, chemicals, and potential demands for overtime or shift work may occur.

+ Interaction with various materials, including cardboard, metals, and plastics, is expected.

+ Exposure to moving equipment and objects in the immediate work area, such as automated machinery, is common.

+ Handling tools or materials, including batteries, may involve some risk of injury.
