Position Overview

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for Power Generation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical systems within the facility. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections, performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on various mechanical equipment, thereby supporting the production and distribution of essential utilities such as steam, chilled water, and domestic water. You will work closely with other team members to maintain safe and reliable plant operations, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize your expertise to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Execute maintenance tasks including mechanical alignment, lubrication, and vibration analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations and trade personnel to uphold safety standards and operational reliability.
Additional Information
  • This position requires daily on-site attendance.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% is necessary.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is required for operating company vehicles.
  • Compliance with all company ethics and safety policies is mandatory.
  • This role involves outdoor work, exposing you to various weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $37.21 USD

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit, and employment terms will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. It is advisable to review the applicable agreement for detailed information regarding work schedules, wages, and benefits.
