Job Summary

Modine is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical repair work for existing equipment and installing new equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Electrical Repair and Installation: Performs a variety of electrical repair work for existing equipment and installs new equipment as required.
  2. Troubleshooting: Works with sophisticated measuring instruments to troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions found in the plant facility.
  3. Electrical Design and Modification: Works from electrical prints, schematics, etc., which includes reading, adding to, and deleting from record any modifications to circuits as required.
  4. Compliance and Safety: Ensures that all electrical work conforms to the National Electric Code and plant safety requirements.
  5. Safety Procedures: Uses safety lockout procedure when performing electrical maintenance work.
  6. Maintenance and Repair: Performs routine maintenance on solid state controls.
  7. Mechanical Work: Performs mechanical work as required.
  8. Work Orders and Directives: Works from written work orders or from Supervisor's directives.
  9. Tools and Equipment: Uses a variety of tools including powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks, overhead hoists, and welding equipment.
  10. Teamwork: Assists Electrician A as necessary, and works closely with other maintenance mechanics.
Requirements

Education and Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent.
