DCS Corp is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to provide expertise and support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate International C2 & Sensors Division (AFLCMC/HBN). This role involves working on the International C2 & Sensors Program, which encompasses Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiatives aimed at delivering efficient defense solutions to allied nations.

The successful candidate will support both the HBNI Integrated Air and Missile Defense Branch (HBNI) and the Sensors (HBNS) Branch. The portfolio includes over 28 nations and 90 distinct projects focused on implementing and executing Air Operations Centers (AOC) and Command and Control (C2) programs, such as Ground Radars and Air Surveillance Systems.

This is a full-time opportunity with a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Travel requirements include approximately 20% to various international locations.

Key Responsibilities:

The role entails, but is not limited to:

  • Addressing unique or complex challenges and modifying standard practices, equipment, and processes as necessary.
  • Providing expert guidance to colleagues and agency officials overseeing broad program operations.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both domestic and international, to ensure understanding and implementation of US program requirements.
  • Offering innovative recommendations to enhance programs and methodologies.
  • Managing significant projects that represent critical segments of the agency's operational initiatives.
  • Exercising sound judgment in evaluating new technologies, strategies, and trends.
  • Anticipating and addressing issues that extend beyond a single specialty area.
  • Collaborating in the development of new standards and concepts that advance existing knowledge.
  • Implementing strategies to ensure the integrity, quality, and effectiveness of engineering programs.
  • Advocating for solutions to resolve complex or conflicting issues.
  • Adapting to and collaborating with clients and international entities to meet mission objectives.
  • Communicating requirements to foreign civil agencies related to power, construction, and infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with various organizations to ensure compliance with construction and security requirements.
  • Utilizing drawing, site survey, and planning analysis skills for upcoming construction projects.

Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A High School Diploma with 12 years of experience, including 7 years in the Department of Defense, or a Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a DoD environment.

An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance is required on the first day of employment.

Proficiency in construction, environmental, and structural principles, as well as military and US building regulations, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.
