About the Role

As a Float Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support across various locations. Your primary focus will be on registering patients, processing paperwork, and ensuring accurate and efficient communication with patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients accurately and efficiently, including inputting demographic and insurance information into our ERAD system.
  • Process necessary paperwork, including scanning documents and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Collect patient payments and explain benefits as necessary.
  • Schedule and reschedule patients as needed.
  • Generate daily invoice journals and reconcile payments using the Daily Reconciliation Report.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cash handling and medical terminology.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructions.
