Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a positive attitude. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to the medical staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and provide a warm welcome
  • Answer phone calls and address patient concerns
  • Schedule appointments and gather necessary information
  • Make copies of insurance cards and IDs, medication lists, and referrals
  • Provide new patient paperwork and explain HIPAA-related forms
  • Field and triage patient questions
  • Confirmation phone calls for appointments and follow-up calls for cancellations and reschedules
  • Check out patients, collect payments, and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Update and scan patient chart notes and document patient encounters
  • Process and follow up on referrals
  • Insurance verification
  • Minor office cleaning and upkeep

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
