Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring effective communication and support within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing telephone communications with professionalism and courtesy.
- Accurately document and relay messages, utilizing appropriate medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) protocols.
- Direct urgent calls to the appropriate personnel without delay.
- Utilize paging systems to notify staff of incoming calls.
- Keep an updated directory of physician contact information.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including typing, proofreading, and scheduling appointments as needed.
- Facilitate appointment scheduling using the designated management system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment, particularly in cardiology, is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications is required.
- Familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary.
