About the Role

Verizon is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the operational management and strategic roadmap of the company's Radio Access Network (RAN) Assembly, Wire and Test (AWAT) and Pre-stage Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of supply chain and network professionals, fostering relationships with multiple organizations within Verizon, and driving business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in planning, reviewing, and removing barriers to productivity.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with open communication and a focus on customer experience.
  • Set clear team goals for short-term and long-term initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in working capital and expense savings.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives and seek innovative solutions to reduce costs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and supply chain professionals.
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Continuously review and improve processes related to assembly, testing, and software loading of hardware.
  • Provide guidance on technical issues and troubleshoot complex process-related problems.
  • Collaborate with multiple organizations within Verizon and 3rd-party partners to drive overall success of the program.
  • Drive end-to-end quality throughout the AWAT and Far Edge Process, maintaining customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience managing a team and leading technical operations, vendor, or account management roles.
