Courtyard Portland Tigard Night Auditor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at Courtyard Portland Tigard. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for supervising the hotel and performing tasks to ensure all daily transactions are reconciled. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Review daily transactions and checklists for completion and accuracy.
  • Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts.
  • Ensure emergency notification procedures are followed in the event of issues taking place overnight.
  • Communicate effectively between all shifts and departments.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience with proven ability to thrive working the overnight shift is ideal.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
