Job Summary

StepStone Hospitality Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of human resources principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, and hire candidates for open positions
  • Analyze and design training classes for management and associates
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and employment laws
  • Oversee disciplinary actions and conduct annual local hotel wage and benefits surveys
  • Ensure associates receive performance reviews and wage increases
  • Plan and coordinate general meetings and associate gatherings
  • Maintain hotel associate personnel files and resolve personnel issues
  • Complete monthly reports and maintain community contacts for recruiting and marketing purposes
  • Respond to unemployment claims, work injuries, and wage garnishments
  • Maintain insurance benefits and be readily available to answer associate questions

Requirements:

  • High school education and relevant training and experience required
  • Ability to timely obtain required licenses or certificates
  • CPR training and first aid training preferred
  • Additional language ability preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Minimum lifting of 20 pounds
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
  • Hearing, writing, typing
  • Minimum pulling of 20 pounds
