Our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization owns worldwide programs and services, supporting approximately 300,000 corporate employees in around 369 corporate buildings covering over 35 million square feet.

We're seeking a Contract Manager for our rapidly growing business. This role will be responsible for managing the contract process from start to finish, working with vendors, transforming internal processes, and coordinating with vendors, internal customers, and legal teams.

Key responsibilities include reviewing vendor contracts, confirming compliance with Amazon's spend and transaction policy, and providing clear guidance on contract deliverables, responsibilities, and costs throughout the contracting process.

The successful candidate will establish and manage procedures for contract tracking and communication, implement and maintain metrics to monitor contract volumes, cycle times, and contract expiration schedules, and handle vendor-related issues through Vendor Defect Report and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues prior to Legal engagement. They will also collaborate with business units to identify projects requiring contract requests and determine project scope, work with legal teams to ensure proper contract types and reviews are aligned with project scope and requirements, and manage contract intake processes and communicate contract requests efficiently with a focus on reducing cycle times.

In addition, the Contract Manager will recommend tools and improvements for contract management and support program enhancements across people, processes, and technology, and effectively work in a matrix reporting structure and ensure mechanisms for knowledge-sharing across regions and organizations.

Qualifications for this role include 5+ years of contracts management, procurement, or comparable experience with responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and legal terms of standard commercial contracts, background in real estate, facilities management, and/or construction contract experience, and excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional and cross-regional teams, solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
