Key Responsibilities:



  • Establish and execute a sales strategy and business plan focused on growth and profitability for the assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain a business plan that aligns with the Division's strategic objectives, ensuring attainment of sales goals and margins to meet profit targets.
  • Review and modify short- and long-term plans as needed in response to changing business and market conditions, staffing, and other factors.
  • Coordinate action plans to penetrate new markets and territories while controlling discounting to maintain profitability.
  • Develop, maintain, and control sales budgets with a focus on profitability and provide leadership and guidance to sales representatives in the development of their business.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one reviews with sales representatives to identify training and development needs, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure they're meeting their Compensation objectives.
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of proposals and presentations and conduct regular sales meetings to focus on regional sales objectives and pertinent business information, goals, and strategies.
  • Ensure trainers are providing necessary guidance to sales associates on the basics of the business, such as time management, account selection, calling and selling techniques, and relationship establishment and maintenance.
  • Ensure all new sales representatives attend company-sponsored training sessions and apply what they've learned.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry changes and product knowledge through continual learning and maintain awareness of competition and trends that could impact the business, making planning adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain organization of assigned regions, including home office, equipment, sales aids, accounts, sales rep, and customer information, and conduct activities in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:



  • Active communication with Sales Force and DSM.
  • Stay in contact and report any valuable information to the DSM, such as competitive pricing, products, trends, new concepts, and referrals.
  • Supports the DSM to ensure pull-through of Tremco Roofing and WTI.
