We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual ICU Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our Medical Cardiac ICU team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective direct care to patients in the Medical Cardiac ICU
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained
- Participate in emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
