Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a role model by exemplifying the standards and values integral to our culture.
  • Demonstrate genuine care for residents through prompt follow-ups and thorough resolution of service requests.
  • Address maintenance challenges across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair domains.
  • Oversee the apartment turnover process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Uphold the building's value by executing preventative maintenance initiatives consistently.
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of the community through diligent upkeep, including snow removal and grounds care.
  • Ensure optimal operational efficiency for all property systems.
  • Comply with relevant building, county, and safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment.
  • Participate in weekend work and be available for emergency on-call duties.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in trades, facilities management, or residential maintenance.
  • Preferred leadership experience and supervisory skills.
  • Possession of HVAC, EPA, and/or NAPE certifications.
  • Familiarity with risk management, OSHA standards, and MSDS protocols.
  • Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repair.
  • Basic skills in carpentry, drywall installation, and painting.
  • Experience with complex mechanical systems, including central plants and chillers, is a plus.
  • A strong safety orientation and keen attention to detail.
  • A builder's mindset, understanding systems as if you constructed them.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with various technology platforms.
  • Availability for emergency situations, including participation in an on-call rotation.
  • Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds frequently and 10 to 20 pounds consistently, along with climbing stairs and working in diverse weather conditions.
