Position: Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist *SIGN ON BONUS*

Job Overview

This role is designed for a dedicated professional providing essential respiratory care services to a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The responsibilities encompass both routine and emergency respiratory interventions, ensuring comprehensive care for individuals with various cardiopulmonary conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Delivering competent respiratory care, including diagnostics and emergency resuscitation.
  2. Managing airways and providing ventilator support as necessary.
  3. Engaging in patient education and wellness promotion within the community.
  4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards under the guidance of a Medical Director.
  6. Documenting patient care accurately in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor for Respiratory Care and may assume supervisory responsibilities in their absence.

Qualifications
  1. Graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Care program.
  2. Successful completion of the NBRC Exam for Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  3. State licensure with blood gas endorsement and current CPR certification.
  4. Preferred: One year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Care Therapist, with additional qualifications in Critical Care and neonatal care.
  5. Demonstrated competency in caring for patients across all age groups.
