Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist (SIGN ON BONUS) - Night Shift

Job Overview
This role is essential in delivering proficient respiratory therapy services to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and the elderly. The responsibilities encompass both routine and critical respiratory interventions, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer routine and emergency respiratory treatments, including airway management and ventilator support.
  2. Conduct cardiopulmonary diagnostics and participate in emergency resuscitation efforts.
  3. Educate patients, families, and the community on respiratory health and wellness.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care, adhering to all regulatory standards.
  5. Document patient care activities in compliance with established policies and procedures.

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor for Respiratory Care. In the absence of the Clinical Supervisor, the individual may assume temporary supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
  1. Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Care program and possess a valid state license with blood gas endorsement.
  2. Certification in Basic Life Support (C.P.R.) is required.
  3. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and additional certifications such as A.C.L.S., P.A.L.S., and N.A.L.S.
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide care across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric patients.
