Ideal Candidate Profile
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 3 years of experience in an industrial customer service environment, collaborating with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams
  • Familiarity with Great Plains ERP or similar systems

  • Strong customer service and data entry proficiency
  • General understanding of sales and manufacturing office operations

Key Responsibilities as a Customer Service Representative
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding project updates and related matters
  • Maintain both physical and electronic customer records
  • Answer calls promptly and courteously, processing orders, changes, and returns in accordance with company policies
  • Provide standard information about service options, fees, billing, and contract details
  • Collaborate closely with production teams and external vendors to relay customer information regarding guidelines and production timelines
  • Work alongside the Sales team to manage new part number requests, quotes, forecasts, and customer communications
  • Respond professionally to all customer inquiries related to service changes, order status, disputes, billing questions, cancellations, and product information
  • Prepare and organize all necessary documentation for the shipping department and management, generating daily invoices for clients
  • Coordinate with production to optimize scheduling and ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage assigned customer inventories, including stock reviews and order placements
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Technical Centers on pricing updates and order information
  • Maintain customer profiles and records, including pricing details and purchase order documentation
  • Ensure customer concerns are acknowledged and resolutions are communicated clearly
  • Work effectively with the credit department to address disputed credit items and investigate short-paid invoices
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues
  • Foster a positive work environment that respects all team members
  • Perform additional tasks as required
