About the Role

The Financial Systems Analyst will be crucial in enhancing our financial operations. This role involves not only the maintenance and enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning but also leading finance transformation projects in partnership with the Business Technology Enterprise Applications team. We seek a versatile individual who excels in both analytical thinking and practical execution. You will provide essential project management and technical expertise, ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives. Your analytical capabilities will be vital in addressing reporting and analytics inquiries, streamlining processes, and managing integrations. As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will serve as a trusted collaborator with the finance team, closely partnering with the Manager of Finance Enablement. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess business processes and propose enhancements focused on maximizing the use of Adaptive Planning.
  • Collaborate with Finance to comprehend functional requirements and ensure successful implementation and testing.
  • Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial strategies, acquisition activities, future requirements, and operational forecasts.
  • Oversee transformational projects from inception to completion, ensuring comprehensive coverage of design, build, testing, and deployment for an optimal end-user experience.
  • Guide Finance team members, Workday managers, and employees in utilizing financial systems effectively.
  • Conduct technical analyses to evaluate current and future financial performance.
  • Advise Finance leadership on best practices and industry standards for Adaptive modeling and reporting.
  • Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis and report development initiatives.
About You

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with financial planning systems, particularly in Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining and supporting complex planning and consolidation models.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
Other Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of data integration between systems and/or experience collaborating with IT.
  • Knowledge of ERP and Financial Planning software, serving as a Subject Matter Expert on Financial Systems.
  • Solid understanding of Finance, Payroll, and HR business processes and their interconnections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex information into functional Adaptive models.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
