The Senior Commercial Banking Executive is tasked with overseeing and expanding a portfolio of commercial banking clients, enhancing existing relationships, and generating new business through referrals and proactive outreach. This role involves working with clients generating revenues between $5 million and $250 million, delivering outstanding service to foster and strengthen client connections. You will also promote relevant products and services to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Bank's profitability by establishing new commercial business connections.
  • Structure loans effectively and cross-sell additional products.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and manage renewals and collections on overdue and defaulted loans.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current commercial products available in the market and stay updated on industry trends and practices.
  • Develop and sustain a professional network of Centers of Influence (COIs) and referral sources.
  • Build a stable pipeline of prospective clients through consistent outreach efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting is preferred.
  • Strong grasp of credit and risk management principles, along with banking policies and procedures; formal bank credit training is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly in team settings and client interactions, with a focus on relationship building.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload.
