Job Summary & Mission:
This role contributes to our success by leading a team of baristas to create and maintain an exceptional customer experience. The store manager is responsible for supervising and directing the workforce, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the store's financial performance, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership:
- Set goals for the work group, develop organizational capability, and model how we work together.
- Demonstrate a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manage smooth transitions to keep the store operating to standard.
- Train and hold baristas accountable for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team.
- Manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote our culture, values, and mission.
- Planning and Execution:
- Develop strategic and operational plans for the work group, manage execution, and measure results.
- Monitor and manage store staffing levels to ensure barista development and talent acquisition.
- Utilize existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and regularly use discretion to filter communications to the store team.
- Business Requirements:
- Provide functional expertise and execute functional responsibilities.
- Ensure adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt partners and minors.
- Solicit customer feedback and research local markets to understand customer and community needs.
- Use operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store.
- Barista Development & Team Building:
- Provide baristas with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and build effective teams.
- Actively manage the store team by conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals.
- Challenges and inspires store team to achieve business results.
- Ensure team members adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage store operations independently.

- Ability to manage resources to ensure established service levels are achieved at all times.

Compensation:
$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Bonuses if P&L requirements are met.
