Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to fill the role of a Front Desk Agent at La Quinta Inn & Suites - PDX. This position offers both morning and evening shifts, with comprehensive training provided on-site.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in welcoming and registering guests, ensuring exceptional service throughout their stay, and efficiently managing the check-out process. Key responsibilities include guest registration, reservation management, and providing concierge services. The ideal candidate will deliver attentive and courteous service to all guests, while also focusing on maximizing room occupancy and revenue.

Full-Time Employees (30+ hours/week)

  • Operate the telephone switchboard effectively, meeting brand performance expectations.
  • Handle guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay informed about rates, packages, and special promotions.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
  • Utilize the Front Desk computer system proficiently.
  • Manage the delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests.
  • Deliver guest items as requested, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of property amenities and local events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
