North Pacific Management is seeking a dedicated Guest Services Representative to enhance our team.
The ideal candidate for this role is a customer-focused individual who is eager to assist visitors. A Guest Services Representative will ensure that guests are welcomed, checked in and out of the establishment efficiently and courteously, while addressing any inquiries they may have. We expect our Guest Services Representative to handle all guest concerns and issues with professionalism and promptness. Reliability is a key trait we look for in candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and manage the check-in and check-out processes in a friendly and professional manner.
- Verify guest identification and process credit/check approvals in accordance with company policy.
- Communicate and fulfill special requests made by guests.
- Respond positively and helpfully to guest inquiries.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues in a courteous and timely manner.
- Answer phone calls promptly and direct them as necessary.
- Promote the property enthusiastically, providing information on special events, facilities, amenities, and promotional packages.
- Ensure effective communication with the next shift to relay important information.
- Complete daily task checklists.
- Follow policies regarding cash handling and employee cash banks.
- Post charges to individual or master accounts as required.
- Reconcile all transactions and cash received during the shift and prepare for deposit.
- Drive company vehicles as needed.
- Manage guest mail and messages according to established protocols.
- Handle requests for wake-up calls appropriately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of any required licenses or certifications.
- Basic mathematical skills and previous experience with cash handling.
Physical Requirements:
- 6-8 hours: Standing/Walking
- 3-6 hours: Crouching/Bending/Stooping; Reaching; Grasping
- 1-3 hours: Pushing/Pulling; Lifting/Carrying (up to 50 lbs.)
- Up to 1 hour: Sitting; Climbing Stairs
