Job Title: Medical Scribe

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scribe to join our team at Advanced Specialty Care, P.C. as a Full-time Medical Assistant Scribe. The successful candidate will work alongside our team of collegiate Dermatologists and clinical team members, providing exceptional patient care and documentation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany physicians during consultations and examinations, transcribing physical exam details with precision and accuracy.
  • Complete all necessary documentation of patient encounters in the medical chart, including entering orders as dictated by the physician.
  • Room patients, perform medication reconciliation, assist with minor procedures, and provide patient education.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in typing/data entry and excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision, multitasking, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Scribe certification.
  • Prior experience in Dermatology or a related field.
