Medical Office LPN Professional

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Medical Office LPN to join our team. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing primary medical care to patients in a fast-paced office setting.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data.
- Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians.
- Instruct patients on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care and relay physician instructions.
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice goals and improve patient care.
- Meet all meaningful use requirements and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals and administer medications.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- EKG experience.
- Successful completion of medical scribing within a probationary period.
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule will vary between 7:30am and 6:00pm, with a Day 8 rotation.
